Julie is returning client who wanted an update to her two year old design. She wanted the new design to call back to the previous but she wanted it to be more understated, simple and open. I used a similar color scheme and incorporated star imagery similar to her previous design to give the new design some "sparkle". To balance out the brightness of this I utilized a lot of white space and kept content as unconstrained as possible to help create that simplicity and openness that Julie wanted. I also did a matching blog design.
