Illustrations were provided by the clients and I integrated them into a design with a similar look and feel. The clients were looking for a fun and inviting site that was also very functional as they needed very specific features like a "Featured Post" section on the sidebar as well as space to put videos. They also wanted to make sure the site was very commenter friendly and I used a bunch of helpful WordPress plugins to achieve this. The clients wanted a different (but related) branding for their video blog, so I did a separate page design integrating the illustration they provided.
