From the Dev Blog:
WordPress 2.8.2 fixes an XSS vulnerability. Comment author URLs were not fully sanitized when displayed in the admin. This could be exploited to redirect you away from the admin to another site. Download 2.8.2 or automatically upgrade from the Tools->Upgrade page of your blog’s admin.

WordPress 2.6.3 has been released in response to a vulnerability in the Snoopy Library, which is what WP uses to fetch feeds in the dashboard. The good news is that only two files need to be replaced, so if you don’t want to download the whole release, just get these files and upload to the wp-includes directory and overwrite the old ones:
WordPress 2.6.2

WordPress 2.6.2 has been released. It is a recommended upgrade due to an issue regarding open registration:
With open registration enabled, it is possible in WordPress versions 2.6.1 and earlier to craft a username such that it will allow resetting another user’s password to a randomly generated password. The randomly generated password is not disclosed to the attacker, so this problem by itself is annoying but not a security exploit. However, this attack coupled with a weakness in the random number seeding in mt_rand() could be used to predict the randomly generated password. Stefan Esser will release details of the complete attack shortly. The attack is difficult to accomplish, but its mere possibility means we recommend upgrading to 2.6.2.
Download it now or check out the full list of changed files.
The WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin is great for these kinds of releases. I’ve just upgraded this blog and it look less than a minute (I counted).
