Notice to Hosting Clients: Billing issues

July 1, 2009 by Emily

Clients,News

A problem with our billing software since mid-June up until today has been sending out erroneous invoices and notices. This includes things like duplicate invoices or overdue/soon due notices on accounts already paid. We fixed the issue today so this won’t be happening any more. A bunch of emails went out early this morning before we found this fix, though, so if you received an invoice or notice on something you already paid, please just ignore it.

Sorry for the inconvenience and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your account. Thanks!

Site Launch: YA Author Celise Downs

June 1, 2007 by Emily

Clients

Celise came to us for a redesign of her existing website. Celise wanted a very fun looking, bright colored site to appeal to the younger readership of her books, but at the same time she wanted it to be professional looking and easy to use. She had a VERY clear idea of what she wanted her site to look like and what would go on each page so this greatly helped me when creating it. She had previously hired an illustrator to create illustrations of herself for many of her pages, so I had to design a basic structure for the entire site that left room for a lot flexibility so that her illustrations could easily be used on the different pages and still look integrated with the entire design.

Celise is also hosting with us and she wanted to move her blog over from Blogger and integrate it with her site. Because WordPress is so great she can control her blog and her main website from one WP installation, which will make things so much easier for her. I created a matching blog design and imported in all her entries and comments and set up a redirect from her old Blogger blog.

I also installed matching designs on her MySpace page and her newsletter.

To celebrate her new site design, Celise is giving away a TON of free prizes. So go check out her new site and let her know what you think to be entered to win!
